Evocations Review + Virtual Screening + Stuart Cinema

• In late January 2022, a still from Sirena's Gallery was published in Evocations Review. 

• A virtual screening of Sirena's Gallery will take place on March 13, 2022 over Zoom. A Q&A with the director, Christine Stoddard, will be hosted by actress Amanda Andrews. A recording will be provided for all registered guests. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

• The NYC premiere of Sirena's Gallery will take place Stuart Cinema in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on May 14, 2022. The film will be screened alongside the director's other film Naomi & The Reckoning. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

Byrd Screening, Plus Stories in the Bronx Times, Richmond Magazine & The Brooklyn Rail

Sirena's Gallery screened at the Byrd Theatre, a historic movie palace in Richmond, VA, on August 27, 2021. That same weekend, Richmond Magazine published a Q&A with director Christine Sloan Stoddard to complement the blurb that appeared in its August 2021 print issue. The Bronx Times also published a profile on two of the film's cast members: Disnie Sebastien and Art Jones, who are both based in the Bronx. A profile of Sirena's Gallery will be appearing in the September print issue of The Brooklyn Rail.

Richmond Magazine Story

Puffin Grant Award

It is with great pleasure and appreciation that we can announce our grant award from the Puffin Foundation! This is a national grant award for emerging artists working on projects pertaining to social justice. So, yes, here's the official language: "Funding has been made possible by the Puffin Foundation." Thanks to the Puffin Foundation, we will have additional funding to pursue our plans for distribution and promotion of Sirena's Gallery.

Successfully funded Kickstarter!

Thanks to everyone who backed our Kickstarter campaign and spread the word. We now have a healthy budget for our promotional circuit, which will include film festival submissions, independent screenings, and streaming. Stay tuned! In the meantime, check out our first public screening at The Byrd Theatre in Richmond, VA; seating will be extremely limited.

Aug. 27th Screening at The Byrd Theatre (Richmond, VA)
